The Delirious brand came out in 2012 and offers a conceptually novel rethink on the making of glasses. In line with the philosophy of its Italian creator, Marco Lanero, a pair of glasses is a highly personal item, which should not be treated as though it were some kind of eye-catching billboard. The designer thus took the drastic decision to follow a “no brand” policy. “Delirious is the first atelier to make no brand luxury eyewear: no writing, no logos, nothing that identifies the glasses", - as the English-language press put it. The calling card of Delirious Eyewear lies not in huge logos, but in its recognisable architectural design and trademark Italian identity.
